All right, let's have it. There is implication in your tone so I'm thinking I won't be surprised if you say you didn't like it. If that is the case, tell me what scares you (but don't say House of 1000 corpses, or I'll laugh at you )
First of all, I thought it was a very good book, I really enjoyed it and am glad I read it. BUT I didn't find it very scary. I really tried to read it with an open mind and tried to see the scariness in it. But it just didn't scare the pants off me.
House of 1000 Corpses is not scary you goof. That kind of stuff doesn't scare me but I do have a haunted house story from Playland the other day I could tell you about but then you would laugh at me and think I am a super freak.
I think for me personally, I have to see it to be scared.
The Shining novel scared me but I haven't read that in awhile. Maybe I should crack that one open again and see if it still does.
I really want to read this book. My sister read it years ago and got rid of the book right away, she didn't want it in her house. Another one i want to read is 'In a Dark Place' but I am having trouble finding that one at any of the bookstores, I think it's out of print.
I would like to find that one, too, yet not give my firstborn child for it.
Alright, I've never heard of this book but am so curious and definitely want to read it now.
You'll have to show me how to link like that......
That one sounds really good but the price on it!! The killer clown kinda has my interest too though.
I'll tell you later today how to link like that. Swampy gave me the crash course months ago and I didn't understand at all what he was talking about... ....then when I saw it through a quote, I figured it out. I'll tell ya later, I'm one way out the door to do some Wal-Mart Superstore shopping.
