I just got it today. I'll be watching it tonight. The book (short story) was one of the better King short stories. In fact the whole book, Everything's Eventual, is representative of King's best short story work in my opinion.

I saw it this weekend. Not bad I guess. Why is John Cusack so freakin puffy??? I noticed he seemed puffy too. Though, IMO, he's better looking now then he was back when he "hot stuff". I thought it was good. I read the short story last night that the movie is based on and enjoyed the story alot more though.

I think that is the problem. Nothing ever compares to the book.

I liked the movie though I thought the short story was much better.
They had a lot of great creepy stuff to work with but went way overboard on the visuals for my taste. The book struck the right balance of fantasy/reality while the movie once into to fantasy just kept going deeper and deeper until it just became ridiculous.
