My other half is going to the Iron Maiden concert tonight so I am finally going to watch PS, I Love You. Has anyone seen it yet? Then after that I will go to bed and have sweet dreams of Gerard Butler. ;D Or I could finally watch the Notebook.

Then after that I will go to bed and have sweet dreams of Gerard Butler. ;D Or I could finally watch the Notebook. Who are you kidding...you're never going to watch the Notebook If you watch PS, I love you let me know how it is. Did you watch Juno yet? I am telling you, you will NOT be disappointed. Did the boyfriend have fun at Iron Maiden? I had front row for them God, maybe 16 or 17 years ago. I think I was a senior in high school. Was never a huge fan but it was something to do so we went down to the arena right before the concert started & ended up with front row. OK off subject a little.... Anyone going to see Sex in the City? Planning to see it Friday night with my bitches (my 2 best friends) I am a huge fan of the show so I hope I will not be let down. But what the hell it's a night out with the girls so it will be fun no matter what ;D

Sounds like you are going to have fun with your freinds. I never got into 'Sex in the City' but a friend of mine is going to lend me her box set so that I can finally see what all the fuss is about. She also is always bugging me to watch 'Nip Tuck'. Do you watch that one?
Holls, you must sit one evening and watch Juno and The Notebook. Both are worth seeing for sure. Never watched P.S I love you but want to. Let me know if it's any good.

Never got in to Nip/Tuck but I am sure it would be right up my alley. You know what I absolutely LOVE & have the entire series on DVD? Six Feet Under. Ever watch that? It is so dark and funny and real and touching and demented all wrapped up in one package I just love it. ;D
If you've never seen it, it is about a family that runs a funeral home, in the beginning of each episode someone dies & they are the person who's funeral is going on at the funeral home that episode. Some of the ways they ended up knocking people off were freakin' hysterical ;D ;D ;D
I am a sucker for dark comedies.

Okay now there's another one of the shows that my friend tells me about. The other one is Weeds. I think she has those boxed sets as well. I think I would really love six feet under - it sounds like my kind of show. Is six feet under still on?
Another one that I regret not watching is Dexter - the one about the serial killer.

So much to respond too.... PS I Love You: I cried and I cried and then I cried some more. Partially because I would probably cry in any movie Gerald Butler is killed off in (yum!) and partially because it's been a tough couple of weeks and obviously I needed to let it out. I felt so much better in the morning too. It is sad but it's got it's funny parts too. Wasn't as good as I hoped it would be but there was enough good looking men with accents to keep me happy. I haven't watched Juno yet or the Notebook. I have nothing against The Notebook, I just think it's because I've seen bits and pieces and the ending I just can't get into watching it. I was going to watch Juno after P.S. but didn't have enough time. Iron Maiden: I think he liked it. He had to tell me all the details and I was bored out of my mind. I don't like Iron Maiden much. He got his $40 tshirt so he's happy. I watched some Sex and The City. I never found anything wrong with it just don't have the time to watch them all. Nip/Tuck I have never seen but have always been interested in it and all the rest I have never seen. ;D ;D ;D

OK....Sex in the City. The movie was good, I think I would have had more fun watching it if I was in a different place emotionally at this time. There was a lot of sad/tough relationship stuff going on throughout. It ended on a upbeat note of course but it was a rough ride. I saw it with my 2 best friends and all 3 of us have had our lives turned upside down in the past year & a half to two years, all of us getting out of long term relationships & all the drama that goes along with it...so it hit a nerve with all of us. I kept it together but fought off tears on more than one occasion during the movie, I waited until I got home to cry So I think any fan of the show would like it, I think you could still enjoy it even if you never watched the show...it all comes down to the journey of 4 female best friends through all that life tends to throw at you. But without really knowing the characters & having affection for them already it wouldn't hold the same feeling.

Well, I am glad that you liked it. Sometimes when a tv series does a movie after the finale it can be disappointing as each viewer likely has different ideas as to what happens afterwards. It sounds like Sex in the City didn't do that however. It can suck when you get in an emotional state and you watch that kind of movie. Sometimes the best thing you can do is go home and cry and get it all out. I never felt like such a baby as when I went to see The Notebook in the theatre and I was in that sort of emotional state myself and my face was all red and blotchy and my eyes were all bloodshoot and I was clutching a handful of snotty kleenex. In the end I felt better getting it all out. I'm sure I wasn't the only when looking like I did when I left the theatre.
