From what I have read on the net, a release date has yet to be announced. There is even talk that it will be released straight to DVD.

Straight to DVD is good. That means I can watch it sooner. Have you seen the trailers for Shutter yet? Looks goooooood. I would put a link to it but I'm too lazy to find one. Must be the Burger King I gorged on yesterday.

Have you heard all the hype about this?
I haven't researched it myself but I heard they are deeming it too scary to play in all theaters.
Try and scare me Paranormal Activity!! Try me!

It's out in theatres now apparently. It is supposed to be playing around here next weekend, hope it comes to Orillia, I'd love to see it.

It's not playing anywhere around here. Not yet anyway. There's so much hype and it's going to be so disappointing. I hope it isn't. I need a good scary movie. I hope you get to see it.

Some are comparing to Blair Witch Project. I liked that movie so hopefully I will like this one too. I will find out tomorrow if our theatres are going to show it.

My brother went and saw it in Vancouver last night. I haven't talked to him yet but this is what my mom said. He told mom that it's not worth the drive or the money. He said there were about 5 minutes where it was kinda scary/freaky and that the rest was just ho-hum. He did say the other people in the theater were jumping at parts and squealing at the scary parts.
Maybe we grew up watching too many scary movies. My whole family is so critical when it comes to scary stuff.
I'm still going to watch it and pray it terrifies me.
I want to talk to my brother today though. I've heard it's the kind of movie that stays with you and scares you days after when you've thought about it more.

I just checked the listings and none of the theatres in my area are showing it! I am PISSED OFF! Now I'm gonna have to go and watch The Stepfather remake!!!!
Let me know what your brother says. I am a wimp so it would likely scare me even if it is cheesy.

Wahoo....my bro got a copy off the internet! Yippe-kay-yay-mother-lovers!! ;D
He says it's not the same ending as in the theaters though. This one had the original ending. I don't care, me so excited.
