You have the chance to solve one of history's "unsolved mysteries" (eg. Bermuda Triangle, Roswell, etc.)
What would you choose?

I'm going to have to think about this one. Neither one really interests me really. Give me a few days to mull it over.
Which one would you choose?

You don't have to choose just from those two. Those are just examples. You can pick any mystery you like. I don't know what I would choose yet. I'll have to think it over.

I'm going to have to look up a few. Ther are some that intrigue me but they do because they are mysteries. They wouldn't be nearly as interesting if they were solved.
Roswell would especially fit into this category. Also I think that if the gov't would come up with a story it wouldn't be the truth. I don't trust that they would tell us everything or even what really happened.

I think Carnie knows alot about Roswell. He should make a thread about it. (hint, hint)

That's the best forum question EVER.
The short story on Roswell, in my humblest of opinions, is that something very big happened there. We have a fossil history of 120,000 years of people on earth who look like we do. In that time we'd only figured indoor plumbing in the 20th century.
Prior to WW2 we were in a technological vacuum. We had ideas with no way to implement them. The combustion engine and heavy manufacturing seemed to be the summit of technological advances and mostly occurred between 1900 and 1940. If you were alive in the 1940's it's probable that you'd seen a horse and buggy in use in your lifetime. To say it another way, Wyatt Earp (the old west lawman) died in the 1930's. The old west and westward expansion has only taken place in the last heartbeat of our existence.
Anyways, whatever happened at Roswell sparked some technological advances that were unprecedented (again, my opinion, but look at it). By the 1950's we were looking at space exploration which would have been a foreign concept in the 30's (don't go quoting Einstein on me either, I can argue that).
By the late 50's we had computers and by the late 70's computers were condensed down to desktop size.
I don't need to go further. Look at what has been produced in the past 60 years in comparison to what had been produced in man's previous 119,940 years and I'd say that you can't miss the signifigance of the timing and then the major events of the day.

By the way, I'd want to know the origins of all of the remains scattered across ancient egypt and how they relate to our origin. I know the answer to our existence is there in the sand somewhere.

Okay I'm kinda sleepy here but you're saying that the aliens that crash landed in Roswell somehow gave us their technology or something along those lines? I'd like to hear more.

Two people have convinced me. The first, Bob Lazar, is a nuclear physicist who claims to have been hired to reverse engineer alien craft at S4/Groom Lake (very close to area 51). This isn't the only video, search youtube for his name. Also, there is another nuclear physicist, Stanton Friedman, who makes very convincing arguments about the Roswell crash. This video is about secret documents but if you search out Friedman's name you'll see what I mean. The man is a gifted communicator and far from 'silly'. Finally, if you have an hour and a half you should watch this video. It's very good!
