A West Virginia murder case that, according to legend, was exposed and eventually solved by the spirit of the murder victim.
This is the only case known (at the time this book was written) that a ghost helped convict their murderer.

Murdered by her husband, Zona Heaster Shue appeared to her mother in her dreams to show her that her husband had indeed broken her neck, which quickly led to having her body exhumed and a proper autopsy performed.

Okay, that was a cool ghost story and one that I have never heard before. Where you familliar with this one when you found it?

No I didn't know much about it until I found it in one of ghostie books. I thought it was interesting how the hubby cradled her neck in a seemingly loving gesture after her death when he was actually hiding the bruises and marks from the broken neck. What a turd, I know if that happened to me d**n right I would be coming back and calling him on it. I would haunt his a$$ forever too.
