Over the last 2 days I have had 4 dinners to go to, the last one being tonight. I don't like turkey at all and if I eat another mashed potato or carrot I'm going to be sick! ;D
Angie....Ted, how's your turkey induced weekend been?

Oh that sucks for you! Thanksgiving IS all about turkey. I love turkey, we are on day 4 of turkey today. Yummy.
We had our dinner on Saturday so that we could keep our turkey buzz all weekend. You know how turkey makes you tired. We had a huge roast turkey, roast potatos, yorkshire pudding, stuffing, carrots, broccoli and thick brown gravy. So good. I could do it all over next weekend.

I've never liked turkey. I like the deli sliced stuff, like the stuff you get at Subway but not the real thing.
Sounds like you have a full tummy after all that food. ;D I didn't eat alot this weekend. We had 4 dinners and I didn't eat too much. I had my reasons though.....i.e...80 year old Grandma's cooking isn't always safe anymore. ;D

LOL @ Grandma! Do you like roast chicken? We are so wasteful though, none of us ('cept Meho) likes dark meat so we carve up the bird on day one (yuck to those that leave it on the bone for 4 days - hack...puke) and put all the white meat into a container and throw out the rest save for a few chunks for the dog. Kris and I were dipping into the wine while cooking the bird and so by the time dinner was ready we were alittle loopy. We decided to let Meho eat at the table with us. He had a booster seat and everything. My Dad would kill me if he saw this;

omg, I am laughing so hard at those pictures. I keep going back to look at them so I can laugh some more. It's so cute the way he's sitting in the booster seat. ;D ;D My grandma made a big ham as well and my Dad has always been wanting me to make homemade pea soup in the slowcooker. Doesn't help that Jeremy absolutely goes nuts for it and my Dad knows it. Pea soup is NASTY!!! Anyway I'm sitting there picking at my food and my Dad plops down a ice cream bucket full of ham bones and starts telling me how to make it. If the hubby wasn't there I would of disposed of them. I made every excuse including not having the peas for it, so my Dad leaves early and secretly runs to the store and buys me a bunch of peas and sticks them under my windshield wipers. So I've been slowcooking pea soup for the last 2 days and my house smells like peas and ass. It's nasty. Thankfully it's done now and in the back of the fridge. I hate pea soup.

I'm never coming to either of your houses for Thanksgiving, you crazy turkey lovers. Well I might go to Angies because her dog makes me laugh. Those dogs always make me laugh.

My last one was Monday night. great story there....goes something along the lines of my hubby's stepmom possibly having a lesbian affair right under her husbands nose. It's priceless I tell ya. ;D Oh but the dinner consisted of mashed potatoes, carrots, salad, yams, stuffing and TURKEY!
