That sound familliar although I didn't see the movie.
I finally made it to the library. I got a really cool book about Karla Holmolka which is a court document book in a binder with all teh coirt proceedings and such. For light reading I got a Shania Twain biography (since she is from Timmins and Huntsville). I also got 'Life after Billy' the continuation of 'Life With Billy' about a middle aged woman who lived with an extremley abusive man and ends up shooting and killing him. Just for shits and giggles (since my copy is burried in my in laws basement in a box somewhere) I also got High Hopes about the Amityville murders. You think I'd be sick of that by now huh?

I've never read High Hopes. Or The Night The Defeos Died. I looked for both of them some time ago but nobody carries them. I guess if I get serious about it again I can always go the Amazon route. The Karla one sounds good! Let me know. I read "Somewhere In Heaven, The Dana And Christopher Reeve Story" It was alright, I was a bit bored until the accident. Then I got bored again. It was sad though. I also read Gerald's Game by King and A Dean Koontz book that was so forgettable I have forgotten the name. A little birdie told me that Richard Laymon has some good stuff out. It was really weird because the next day I was cleaning out my bookcase, going through what I have etc and I found a Laymon book that the mom-in-law had given me because it looked "morbid". I started reading it last night before bed and am already 200+ pages into it and I haven't even had breakfast yet. Good call little birdie!! I have a ton of books to get through but keep saying I'm running out of ideas. I should read what I have before complaining I need new stuff and buying new stuff. ;D

While cottaging (and with 3 channels - one was olympics which I dispise, one was french and the other not so bad) I read sTORI Telling which is Tori Spellings autobiography. Her and I have more in commen than I would like to admit. Good book though and she is kind of funny.
Also rereading Invisible Darkness about Homolka/Bernardo.

I guess I was waiting for someone else to read it first and let me know. Did you buy it new? Em and I watched some of the ribbon gymnastics the other day. They were entertaining for a while. ;D Other than that, I haven't seen any of the Olympics.

No, I borrowed the Tori Spelling book from the library. I don't buy many books anymore unless I LOVE them.
Just went back to the library and got that Andrea Yates book 'Are you there alone'? Also I got the 'Catch me if you can book' and a biography on Jack Nicholson.

Andrea Yates would be a sad one and Jack Nicholson should be interesting. I love him. And with his sister really being his mom and his mom really his grandma or however that goes, should be an interesting read. I got The Lake by Richard Layman from the library the other day. Haven't been able to get into it though.

What do you think of the Tori Spelling book? Isn't her Mom a royal bitch? I ran out of books to read and so I am reading one of Kris' books that he got from the library - Tommyland. So far, so good. That bugger is a dirty S.O.B.

When did I become hooked on the library? I don't think I even stepped into our library in highschool or college and I can count how many times I went into the one in my hometown. While I have always loved books the library was just never my thing. I get giddy going to the one here. There are soooo many books that I want to read. This time I got a Courtney Love biography and the second Roseanne biography and the new Ann Rule book. I'll be done those by the weekend and then I'll be going back for more!
