It's raining, it's pouring! Atleast it's not snow. We have been getting alot of rain, makes me think we will have a wet winter which means lots of snow. Are you still wearing flip flops? If so than you are doing pretty good!

The only day it hasn't rained this month was yesterday and I never got around to winterizing my garden. We are heading up North this weekend and so my roses and dahlias might not make it if we get a frost. If the rain continues like this we are going to have a hell of a snowy winter. Better get those snow tires on and the snow blower ready.
How has your weather been?

We've lucked out! Usually by now there is a ton of rain and it's all gross and muddy out. Its been super sunny here for days. We have this arctic front here though, it's as cold as hell but really sunny.
And that's why I don't garden. ;D
Have fun up North. Hopefully you're back on Tuesday. I need some good Miss Millergirl conversation after this messed up weekend! ;D

I bought a leaf blower/vacuum. NO more raking for me - horay! Nice! Luckily we don't have a lot of trees that shed their leaves around. All of our trees are pine or whatever you call them. LOL! We get the needles. Can it blow snow too?

We get the needles. Can it blow snow too? No. But we have a snowblower too. ;D We have tons of trees, mostly maples so we have piles of leaves already eventhough the trees still have plenty of leaves on them. We also take care of the elderley lady's yard next door. The leaf blower should cut down most of the work.

It's super windy here! Supposed to be like this for the next 2 days. Just a heads up if I'm not here for a day or three. We could lose power....we usually do.

We had snow this morning. Nothing that stayed but it was still snow.
Hope you don't lose your power but thanks for the heads up. You know I'd worry.

I know you would. I would too though if I didn't hear from you for a day or two. I want snow!!!!!! Wouldn't it be fun to trade homes for just a month or two in the winter? We are going to Florida in April. Can't wait. It'll give me a small reprieve from winter and something to look forward to. We are renting a house in a gated community. 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, covered pool. My Dad and step-mom are coming with us.

Holy crap!! Are you really? That sounds like so much fun. And the sun.....wow! Lucky you!
As you can tell, I never really go anywhere. I've been to DisneyLand when I was 9 and Texas a few years ago. DisneyLand was great of course and Texas was more of a business/J's friends trip. Those were my two airplane trips. Everything else has been a drive away.
