How's your weather out there?

Hey!!
We haven't gotten any wind yet but I heard it's coming today. You know the drill though, wind equals lost power in most cases for us. ;D
Last week when we had that wind storm I told you about.....the wind was so strong it moved the trampoline from the middle of the yard to the driveway. So about half an acre. It was nuts, I can't believe we kept our power!

We have had gorgeous weather here the past few days. The weekend we had sun and about 14 or so, yesterday it was 19 and sunny. I think Mother Nature is making up for the crappy rainy, cold summer we had.

We had a wicked wicked wind storm last night. We barely slept at all it was so loud. I'm really surprised we didn't lose power. The last 3 nights I've had about 4 hours sleep each night of broken sleep. Sooooo tired, gonna have a nap. I'll be back this afternoon as long as we still have power.

I heard that all the ski hills out there are open two weeks earlier than anticipated! Wow! Good for the olympics I guess. Have you been getting lots of rain?
It has been nothing but sun and around 10 here for the past week. I love it. This must be what it is like for you?
Hope you don't lose your power. Be sure to rest, dragging your ass all day long isn't fun. I just had a small one myself. I think I am getting a cold so I am trying to rest and take in lots of vitamin C.

I have a shitty cold. It's knocked me on my ass since it is difficult to sleep at night I am dragging my ass all day long. I'll check back later, I am going to try and have a nap.

Hey! We've had some super crappy weather. The wind and the rain has been nuts. Last night wasn't windy but two nights before that we were up all night with the wind. Thought I was going to wake up too see Dorothy and Toto. It's supposed to start up again tonight.  Our cable/internet was out most of the day yesterday too. That's why I couldn't get on. But the wind tonight is supposed to get up to 90-100km/hour so if you don't hear from me for a few you know I am sitting in the dark. Em has had a bit of a cold too. I call it the sneezing stuffy nose cold. That's all it seems to be. I hope you feel better soon, do you have kids today?? |

We have scary winds again last night. We weren't supposed to get more wind until Saturday but last night was nuts. It only happens at night too. It totally dies down during the day.

We're expecting a big wind/rain storm again today. What fun! How did it go? Did the storm come? I woke up to a blanket of snow covering everything this morning. It looked like winter. Luckily it warmed up to about 6 today so it all melted. We have really lucked out so far this year. That was the first snow that we have had yet. |

Wow, is that kinda late in the year for you guys to be getting snow? You usually get it a lot earlier don't you?
I love the first snow fall. Soooo exciting.
the storm didn't really come. Which is good. Our weather here now is beautifully sunny but damn cold. It's nice on the sinus's though...everything feels so clean and fresh with the crisp weather. I love breathing it in.

We usually get snow here that will fall and melt within the same day but last year we got some in mid November. It seemed colder last year.
Today it is bright and sunny, no snow in sight. I give it a few days though then we will have full blown winter.

We have snow.......and I think this time it's going to stay.  This year I really don't care. I have my Honda Pilot. That car is awesome in the snow. I haven't slipped yet......and I've tried. |

Oh ya, I totally forgot about your new Pilot!!!! It's nice huh? What color is it? I can't wait for out first snow fall. It's always super exciting here. We are having "arctic cold" here. It' super sunny and beautiful looking outside but it's like -7 or something. That's kinda unusual for us. Damn cold!!! And it's dry too so everything is soooo staticy. I bought some new of those realy fuzzy pajama pants. They have Ghostbusters on them...HOW COULD I NOT?? But anyway I was wearing them yesterday and the static was so bad they clung to my legs. They are super big on me but were skin tight yesterday. Everytime I moved I could here the static popping. I had to take them off. I love my new Ghostbuster pants!!  |
