Did you go and play in the snow? Looks like it's our turn today. We have a flash freeze warning and then snow squalls...up to 25cm of the white stuff. Oh wow! 25 cm! We didn't really get a chance. Between school, and the doctors we didn't get much chance. It's staretd raining last night too so now it's really wet gross stuff. |

Ya we didn't get 25 cm either - ha ha ha. It skipped us and North of us got hammered. Overnight we got maybe 3 cm and it's still here. I think this is the beginning of the end.
Hopefully you get more snow soon!

I warmed up really good over the weekend and now it's getting cold again. We still have a good couple of months to get more snow.

We are supposed to get rain tomorrow so bye bye snow. Later this week we are supposed to get hammered though. It does look pretty and we have our Christmas lights up and our wooden reindeer is out too. Did you put your tree up yet?

We had snow days on Monday AND Tuesday - lucky kids! ;D We finally have snow! I saw that one Kiki's FB status! Are any of your daycare kids in school or are they all too young? Here we have rain, rain, rain. The twins are in school but most of the schools here are still open even if there is a snow day so the twins went to school anyways. It's always a movie/game day at the school when that happens so even though we could still drive Kiki to school she didn't want to go. I'd rather have her home anyway. |

I shovelled TWICE today. Yep she's all good. I just had the day off from all the kids and my mom was on holidays and we were going to visit my grandparents and go for lunch so we brought her with us. She's doing so well in school so I don't mind letting her havea fun day with me every so often. We had wicked rains this weekend. It was supposed to be 100mm. I don't know what it was for sure but it sure was wet this weekend. Watching the Santa parade Saturday night in the rain......not too fun....but worth it I guess! |

Wow a Christmas parade in the rain - I can'ty even picture it usually it is wicked cold here when we have ours. Mind you it would be nice not to be completely bundled up and willing the Santa float to hurry the fuck up.
We had another snow day today. The roads are crap here - completely snow covered and pure ice underneath and it's -25 so the sand they coat the road with just blows away and the salt doesn't work when it's that cold. I almost got hit by an SUV coming down the hill sideways yesterday. One of my daycare Dad's got rear-ended TWICE yesterday. I hate driving in this crap. I just have three days left to do the trip to school and back and then Kris is back and Kiki is done school for two weeks. YAY!

That sounds horrible! How's the Pilot on the roads? Any good?
The Xmas parade here sucks! The floats are the cheesiest floats imaginable. Think putting xmas lights on a pick up....that's the extent of our floats. But what can you expect from a town who's only night club is called "Rehab"?
