Yes, my Mom is really going to do that! I don't know why but she can get free concert tickets there and that's how we got them in the first place now she has to go at noon today to pick our seats and pick up our tickets. She's not going to the concert with us she is going to play the slots though with her friend.
Cross your fingers that they can get us good seats!

Ha! We got fourth row seats! It was a good concert but it was short - under two hours. My one sister mangaged to lose the whole bottom of her high heel shoe on our way in to the casino. I had to play McGyver and repair it with some dental floss that I had in my purse. We had a good laugh anyways. ;D

Fourth row is awesome. Too bad it wasn't too long though, time must of flew once they stated playing. You had fun though? What's your favorite song that they do?

When I went to college Collective Soul was just coming out and this is the song that I liked from them back then.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=039rVH0HRxIThen in 1999 when I had Kiki this song came out and it's my newer favourite....(Dawson is in this video) www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0XkP_RDbyk&feature=relatedI fixed my sister's shoe because she was lucky enough that the toe part was still attached and so I could tie it all up and I had a big elastic band. It wasn't pretty but it worked and teh only other pair of shoes for sale at the casino was moccasins which didn't exactly go with her pin striped capri's - lmao ;D

YAY, I got out of going to see New Kids On The Block. Part of me wanted to go but the other part thought "I can't stand listening to their music now so why would I want to go" But I was also nostalgic about it. But I'm glad I turned down the tickets. They were expensive anyway for a little 'back when' flashback.
My friend begged me to go with her but she found someone else to go with. yay! ;D

You are going to regret that! How much were the tickets? I would've went just to see what their new stuff was like. Did you see them on the MMVA's last Sunday? I missed it but I caught them on E Canada just playing some of their old stuff at the show.

No I won't regret it. Are you crazy?? ;D I haven't even heard any of their new stuff. I wouldn't even know it was them if I did. Dammit, now I have 'Covergirl' stuck in my head. "oh oh oh, you're my covergirl" That was nktob wasn't it? I think the tickets my friend got were $115 each.

Saw the Foo's in Manchester stadium this month, Dave Grohl is a sexy little fecker...astoundingly talented and entertaining! A MUST SEE in concernt. Walked on strumming his guitar all cool as fook like,my mouth literally dropped to the floor. He is my new sex god.
The Manic Street Preachers supported, who performed a cover of Rhianna's "Umbrella" (which I fuckin hate, ay, ay, ay) BUT their version fuckin rocked!! Design For Life and Motorcycle Emptiness also had me singing my heart out and waving my hands in the air like a gimp.
The Futureheads also supported up and coming and mint!!

Ever heard of Hawksley Workman www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1zywSttByMKris and I went to high school with him (he`s a year older than I am). He is playing three shows in our home town so we are going to see him in August! Should be good. Krisè brother is organizing the whole event.

I know I liked it but have no idea what it is now. Other than that and something that I saw on TV about him working with Great Big Sea, I don't know his music at all. I've heard of him though, for sure. Were you guys friends with him? When's the concert?

We were not really friends with him in highschool. He was friends more with Kris' brother since they were the band/drama geeks. Hey - maybe if you went to our school Holls you would know him. Weren't you a drama geek too?
LOL he went to our highschool up until the end of grade 11 and then transfered to Huntsville High and so that is where he claims to come from. I guess our redneck highschool with the distinctive 'highest teenage birthrate' award isn't good enough for him. Oh well he's a good musician and so we may go and see him.
