I am a 'counter'. I count everything.
In the morning when I apply deodorant I apply 17 times under one arm and 16 under the other. Why those numbers? Because they add up to my age. I have been doing that for maybe 15 years or so now.
Also I sip the water after brushing my teeth twice equaling my age. If I screw up any of the numbers I am convinced that my day will go to hell and I have to rebrush/reapply deodorant and sipping routine.

Ok, I take that back. I counted and it was close to 15. So 17 isn't that much.
I have to double/triple quadruple check that everything is shut off and locked before I go to bed or go out. It's almost like I don't trust myself to know that everything is off. And I have to check on Em at least twice before I actually get into bed.
I'm pretty sure in my past life I died in a fire. I am so freakin' terrified there will be a fire in my house. I am the smoke alarm queen.

You are being safe that's all.  I spoke to my Dad and turns out he is a 'counter' too. Also he is a clean fanatic. His house is spotless and his fridge has everything lined up and label forward. His stores have always been immaculate and organized as well. Looks like the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. The crazy tree.  |

It sounds like you are quite normal.....as far as ocd goes anyways......lol. This morning one of my little ones had an appointment and when the Mom dropped him off afterwards just before lunch the kid had a portion of a bear paw cookie and he was having a fit because he couldn't play outside right then (it was pouring rain and lunch time) and he was squeezing this cookie and shreading it all over the entryway and livingroom carpet. Keep in mind his Mom was holding him and letting him do this. I dropped several obvious hints and finally took the damn cookie from him myself although he freaked out even more. I nearly lost my mind. Who lets their kid do that. The second she left I cleaned it all up. Man it really pissed me off.  |

Have you ever tasted those Bear Paw cookies? They are nasty gross but the kids love them! And their messy. I've found dried up snot in places where there should be no snot.  |

I think I tried the brownie ones once - not too bad but they are too mushy for my taste. i like crunchy cookie except chocolate chip and oatmeal cookie have to be crispy around the edges and soft in the middle. You are right though the kids love them. I buy the berry mini ones for the kids just for the car - it keeps them happy. Snot! That is why we should buy the H2O mop. Oprah just had a story on a lady who cut her finger chopping celery and someone there had strep which got into her cut and she got the flesh eating disease. Did you know that could happen?  ? She lost an arm, one breast and 9 lbs of skin. You need to watch it. |

I PVR Oprah now only because you always say I miss good things. I watched the Earth Day one and usually erase the others. I so don't want to be an Oprah watcher. LOLOL!!
Anyway I erased that episode. I was thinking about watching it but decided not too. I'm bad aren't I? And just what I would need...watching a show about a lady who got strep in a cut and then flesh eating disease. A swollen lymph node makes me think cancer, can you imagine what that would do to me?!? LOL!!
