I'm thinking of getting one this month. Have you heard anything about them? I don't think I am going to get a Kindle or anything...just one from Best Buy or something. I love having books but I think it would be fun and in the long run cheaper than spending $30 or more on books. I would probably read more books too because I wouldn't have to hunt anything down or wait for it from the library....like the old school murder books and what not that you can only find if your lucky.
I was also told there is probably a way around it and download them for free since I have a family of pirates! Aaaarggggg!

I seriously had to google to see what an ereader is. ;D
I agree, it sucks paying for books but I love seeing them on my shelf for some reason. Especially the books I really enjoyed reading. The ereader would be good for those books you read but would never read again......
How much $$$ are ereaders?

I really like seeing the books on my shelf too. And I like to read in the bath. If i accidently drop a book in the bath it will dry off but an eReader might not to be easy. But I really want one anyway. It would be good for books like that Stephen King "Under The Dome" one.
They run between $200-300. I've been thinking about it for awhile.

I got an e-reader! Wahooo. It comes with 100 free books but they are classics like Romeo and Juliet, Wuthering Heights and that kind of stuff. I'll probably read some of them but not right now. Especially the Dracula and Frankenstein ones.
I haven't bought or downloaded any books yet. Haven't had time to figure it out yet. It's pretty cool though.

Did you get it as an early birthday gift or a just because gift? You'll have to let me know if it is a worthwhile purchase. How easy is it to find books and how much do they cost etc....

My parents give me money for my birthday and mom gave it to me early because the e-reader was on sale this past weekend. I'll let you know how it is after I get the hang of it and actually download something onto it. I think I need a computer smart uncle or two to help me out with the first one.

How is the ereader? Have you downloaded anything yet? No not yet. Actually Matt downloaded 'World War Z" (it's about a zombie apocolypse) onto our computer but didn't put it on the ereader. I'm not 100% sure how to do it myself. I'm sure I can figure it out but honestly haven't had much time to do it. I;m hoping to do it tonight. I think I might get my brother to come out and help because Matt has been busy. I'm almost done Tori's Spellings book so I need to get on it.

I'm liking it. I've liked all her books. I'm about three quarters down already. I hate to admit it but with all her hypochondriac things she reminds me of myself. I've always thought Dean was cute too. ;D

I hope she writes another book next year.

I just read the chicken voodoo part yesterday. And she had to wipe herself with that burning mixture. The things people do.....
I'm trying to think of some books to download. I'm going to have to go back into the "what are you reading" thread and get some.

I tried that one but it keeps coming up as some other book. I'm gonna try to get it again today.
I did find a collection of Richard Laymon books. He's one of my favorites....I'm sure I have told you to read some of his books before. So I downloaded it and it's like 20 books in one. Pretty darn cool....I just hope they all work.
I was out yesterday with my mom and she bought a book about Anna Nicole that the judge wrote about her. Can't wait to read that one when she is done.
