So I'm a little behind on this one. ;D "The 30th anniversary of the Lawndale Thunderbird abduction is today, July 25th. On July 25, 1977, as 10-year-old Marlon Lowe played outside his family home along open fields near Kickapoo Creek, near Lawndale, Logan County, Illinois, two giant birds passed over. One suddenly swooped down to grab the boy, carrying him a few feet before dropping him, apparently because of his frightened mother’s screams. The incident occurred in front of seven witnesses, all of whom described exactly the same thing: two huge, coal-black birds with long, white-ringed necks, long curled beaks, and wingspans of 10 or more feet." More to come.......

Is your stepmom afraid of any kind of bird? That reminds me of an episode of My Name Is Earl. Randy is terrified of a chicken and I laughed soooo hard. You had to be there I think.

ahhh man I hate chickens too! WE used to have a few when we first moved up North when I was 3 and we lived out in the country on 150 acres. Those suckers used to peck at my toes and it hurt.
My step mom is afraid of any and every bird. If one flies to low towards her she screams like she's in that Hitchcock film 'The Birds'. ;D

We have coyotes around here and I've never really seen them out and about unless their dead on the road (or when my friend hit one) but we can hear them. They sound almost creepy when they are all howling and yapping. I think it's cool. We don't have bears in the area I'm in.

From what I know they would run from a human. I've never heard of them attacking a human before but I'm sure for other animals or children they might attack. It's hard to say cuz I just don't know.

We used to have wolves back home. We would hear them all the time. The odd time you would even see one but not so much anymore.

Having wolves in the yard would be scary. I think they're so cool though. I would never let my cat out!!
Our dog is part wolf and she's huge. I can't imagine something that big stalking my yard.
