Somewhere on the net I wrote a really detailed post about this but I can't find it (maybe on TNE now that i think about it). I think this story is very disturbing, as much I'd say as Mothman. Eyewitnesses saw this being hopping over buildings which is really, really trippy especially since tensioned steel (like leaf springs in a car) was still a few years away from being perfected at this time. I don't think he could have hopped like that with coil springs of the day.
I think SHJ and Mothman are related somehow.
