No beach for us today. The weather is kinda blah for it. So we did some grocery shopping this morning and i'm gonna mow the back lawn. I love mowing the back lawn....hop on the ride on, put on some music and I totally zone out into fantasy world.

In the spirit of Canada Day I give you Canada's Giant Roadside Attractions You may of seen this too if you've been to MSN the last few days. I stole it! Love  that BC gets a hockey stick and a dump truck.....at least Ontario got a giant tomato, some change (thank goodness it isn't a penny huh) and a couple of fish. Jealous? Why yes I am!! ;D Have you seen any of these Ang? I've been to the dino. We've got a big chair in our town......... |

Yard work!
Ended the day with Mexican food and margaritas though so it wasn't all bad.
We've had a drought here so they banned fireworks this year. Pretty quiet overall. I'm one of those old guys who bitches about fireworks (middle of the night) but I realized that I actually missed them when we didn't have them.

There are even weirder ones further up north like a U.F.O. I am surprised they didn't show those ones. We also have giant chairs everywhere but they are mostly Muskoka chairs since we live pretty much in Muskoka. BTW the dinosaur would be the coolest one to see.  |

The big chair in town is just advertising for a furniture store. It's not very exciting in that sense. It would be cooler if it were just in the middle of nowhere. lol
The dino in Alberta was cool. You enter through his bum. LOL! I have some photos I will have to find from when we were in Alberta. I took a photo of the dino from our room. Totally looks like a dino is rampaging the town.
I want to see the UFO!!

Okay I just googled roadside attractions here in Ontario - here they are in this link in alphabetical order. The ufo is in a town called Moonbeam that we used to drive through North of Timmins. www.roadsideattractions.ca/ontario.htmTurns out we have a few dinodaur ones too but I haven't seen them - I will have to go on a roadtrip. |

I love road trips!! I would just spend all day driving with no destination in mind if I could.

I've got a camera on my phone that takes decent pics. I don't always carry my camera around. Well, most of the time I do. You never know what you might see. ;D
