Yesterday I was shopping with my friend Sandra who has been in the city about 3 years longer than I have and so knows how to get from place to place better than I do so she was driving. She mentioned the street she usually takes to get to the airport and I told her that I had heard that a big truck had hit a bridge and so the road was no longer open. I couldn't recall where I heard it or when but I was sure it was true. Sure enough we drove through that wat home and all was fine. Today though a truck hit that very same bridge and closed the road. I called her on her way home from work to tell her and she was just as shocked as I was. Weird or what?
