"Giordano Bruno (1548, Nola – February 17, 1600, Rome) was an Italian philosopher, priest, cosmologist, and occultist. Bruno is known for his system of mnemonics based upon organized knowledge and as an early proponent of the idea of an infinite and homogeneous universe. Burnt at the stake as a heretic by the Roman Inquisition, Bruno is seen by some as the first "martyr for science."

I am fascinated with Giordano Bruno. Not once did he recant his beliefs to the Roman Inquisition. He died believing in himself and his beliefs. They declared Bruno a heretic for his ideas and beliefs and burnt him alive at the stake.

[glow=blue,2,300]So what? Sociopaths (such as your husband, for example) have a history of not recanting. Doesn't mean he's right nor truthful.[/glow]
