I want to read the book that Tori Spelling's hubby's ex wife wrote. I don't remember whats it's called but I'm gonna try and find it.
I cleaned out our closest yesterday and found a ton of my books that I forgot I had. I found all the Amityville books i have, probably every Stephen King book ever written (well not all but enough) and a ton more. Can't say I have nothing to read now.

Forgot to mention that I finished 'The woods are Dark' a week or two ago. It was good. I may check out a few more of his books. I didn't realize that Dean McDermotts ex wife wrote a book? Bet you it's all bitching about Tori and Dean.

I started to read Schindler's List.....hard to get into. It's the type of book that you need long bouts of reading time to read and mine are short bursts. I'm going to give it more time though.

I finally finished Schindler's List. It was quite good but it took me awhile to read.
I know Santa is bringing 'The Lovely Bones' and 'My Sister's Keeper'. So I'll have something good to read soon enough.
Are you reading anything Holls?

Lovely Bones....is that the one they made a movie of. Something about a girl dying and watching over her family or something like that?
I'm not reading much anything right now. Kinda in reading limbo. I did buy "The Road" the other day though. It was cheap and I know the movie looks real good. I'll let you know when I start it.

I'm half way through "The Road". Damn it's a good book! If you come across some Xmas money or say a Chapters gift card this holiday season, it's definitly a must read!
I'm scared to watch the movie now. It's gonna be soooo heartbreaking if they keep true to the book.
But I started it yesterday and am a little more than half way through. and that's with me being super busy and have achy eyes due to my cold. Good stuff!

Kris read The Road last year and loved it but it was borrowed from the library and I didn't get a chance to read it. I was thinking maybe I would get that book...it's on my list.

While I anxiously await my Christmas books I am reading a true crime novel (can't recall the name) about the Blagg family where the mother and daughter disappear from their home. I think I watched it on dateline or something like that. Not a bad book so far. Easy read so it's nice before bedtime.

Finally finished My Sister's Keeper. You were right the ending is totally different than the movie. It was so much sadder in a way but I liked it better.
Are we missing some posts, I swear I posted about reading this book......

I started My Sister Keeper.
Crap, this book has already made me cry a few times. Could be the mood I'm in too. I can just too easily place myself in the mothers' shoes at times. It's gonna be a hard one to read I think. But it is very good and I don't want to put it down.

I really like that each chapter is written from all the different characters perspective. Did you watch the movie? I watched the movie first and so I side more with the Dad I think. It is a sad book in some parts but other parts will make you giggle and others will make you appreciate life so much more. I am reading that Columbine book. It's a thick book so I'll be reading it for awhile.
