I was gonna start Song Of Susannah but decided to read Nightmares & Dreamscapes by Stephen King instead. LOL - I just started reading 'Cell' by Stephen King - get outta my head! Hubby just finished Song of Susannah and didn't like it. It just isn't appealing to me either.

I only switched because Nightmares is an easier read. With more kids now and our "company" over it's easier just to read a short story. Let me know how "Cell" is. I might make that one next. So far Cell is good. It makes you think about how dependant we all are one our cell phones.

I'm liking it. usually can't read more than a few pages at a time though unless Em is sleeping.

Holly you must read 'Blackbird' by Jennifer Lauck. It is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. My favourite book. It's non-fiction autobiography about a young girl who loses her Mother to cancer and then her Dad remarries a woman who is abusive. She ends up on her own at 10 or 12. It is an amazing story and then there is a sequel called 'Still Waters'. I hope you read it, I'd love to hear what you'd think about it.

I'll write it down and keep it on my purse. Next time I'm in the library or the book store, I'll look for it. ;D
You got that "For Laci" book for Christmas didn't you? That was one of the most heartbreaking books I have ever read.

That was one of the most heartbreaking books I have ever read. Ya that Laci book was really upsetting. After I read it on the xmas holidays Larry king had a special on with all of his Laci related interviews, I woke up at 2 a.m. to watch them all and it was so sad.

The part of that book that got me the most was when the mom was in the funeral home and she put her hand on the casket and knew where they were in the casket because it was cold. That part made me cry.

That was a sad part. I was struck by Scott's obvious unsensitive nature when Laci became pregnant. I felt so sad for her, she was supposed to be having the happiest days.
