"The Falcon Lake Incident occurred on May 20, 1967, when Stephen Michalak claimed that he encountered a unidentified flying object (UFO) near Falcon Lake, Manitoba, Canada. He claimed to have been burned by the craft's exhaust vent. Shortly after 12:00 p.m. Michalak’s concentration was disturbed by a noise similar to geese’s grunts. When he looked up, he spotted two cigar-shaped objects, which were red and brilliant as fire. They were descending at 45 degrees, as calculated by the witness. He also noticed that the closer they came the more oval they became."en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falcon_Lake_IncidentUnsolved Mysteries Episode: Part one youtube.com/watch?v=VLOCQk4Kh5s&feature=relatedpart two youtube.com/watch?v=s5nuqrFBW6E&feature=related

I actually meant to post about this quite awhile ago and just never got around to doing so.
When I first moved to Winnipeg and realized that I knew nothing about the province let alone the city itself I got on the net to look up hauntings and such and found this story. Then a few weeks later I saw the story on Creepy Canada. I have driven through the Falcon Lake area on my way to Ontario and there is even a campground close to it as well that a friend of mine would take her family to every year.
Kris used to fly over it all the time and experienced some odd things. I'll have to ask him about it and see what he said.
