When I first read about this yesterday I thought it was a new movie or something. Holy crap!  Greyhound Bus Killing"Caton, the driver and a trucker who had stopped at the scene later boarded the vehicle to see if the victim was still alive.
"When we came back on the bus, it was visible at the end of the bus he was cutting the guy's head off and pretty much gutting him up," said Caton.
The attacker ran at them, Caton said, and they ran out of the bus, holding the door shut as he tried to slash at the trio.
When the attacker tried to drive the bus away, the driver disabled the vehicle, Caton said.
"While we were watching the door, he calmly walks up to the front with the head in his hand and the knife and just calmly stares at us and drops the head right in front of us," said Caton." |

I nearly barfed when I heard all that plus the dude was eating the corpse....or pieces of it anyways. Right now our friends from Winnipeg are here in Orillia to stay with us for a week and so this has been a hot topic of discussion. I can't wait to hear this guys reasoning for his attack. So far he's not saying anything. |

I heard that he was eating some of the guy.....that was true then? I didn't know if that was just rumour or not. Is it bad to say that the whole scenario would make a really interesting part in a horror/slasher movie? Am I going to hell now?  What we get now all over our papers and in the news is how the victim was going to work (has worked at) the PNE and Playland. It's like B.C. needs to make it's claim on him somehow. Who cares if he worked or was going to work around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, I don't see how that makes a difference to the people who knew him and loved him. |

Yes the rumours seem to be true, unfortunately. This guy was a complete nutjob! I heard that he was a carni. I heard that he worked the ex in Winnipeg as well. That's usually what happens though is that every city will claim it's claim to fame, even if it is some irrevelant fact.  |

I don't have a link right now but the guy was deemed insane because "voices told him to do it " and he won't be going to prison. I'll find a link about it in the next day or two when I have more than a few minutes. |

Okay so lets say that he isn't responsible then who was responsible for him and let him go on a bus unescourted with a knife? He must have family that were aware of his condition, surely they could have committed him. He may not go to jail but he will be confined for the rest of his life in a nuthouse doing cheerio art.  |

The one I read talked about how the lunatic cut up for Tim and was putting body parts all around the bus and even ate pieces of him. You know....they never found his eyes.... Did we read the same thing? |

It's totally fucked up, I can't even believe that something like that happened and that the guy was deemed insane and could be released sooner rather than locked away for life. I remember reading somewhere that this guy sold all of his stuff before he boarded the bus and that he changed seats to sit beside Tim. Makes me think he knew what he was going to do. A man who murders someone doesn't need to own much stuff after they throw his ass in jail right? |
