Ya, we have nothing cool like that here and I guess I have to be a bit thankful for that since I really don't want to see anything creepy. I would love to go to the Mothman Festival if I lived closer to WV. I once stayed in Wheeling, West Virginia for a few days and even went to school there for a day with family friends, too bad I didn't know about the Mothman back then - maybe I would have taken a detour. ....so....um ...your berry festival sounds....exciting.

Hey, don't knock the berry festival till you tried it! lol!
Actually it was loads of fun when we were kids and we took Em there a couple years back and while she had a blast I couldn't believe how dull it was.
We used to live in Abbotsford (which is only 15 minutes away from where are now) and we went to the Berry Festival every year. My mom has on tape somewhere a newscast and they were taping the kids and such. My brother and I were on the merry go round thing and my brother (who was maybe 3 at the time) had his finger buried so deep in his nose. The newscaster lady was trying not to laugh and my mom kept smacking his hand away. That's my berry festival memory of the day.

Your poor brother. Do you have that on tape? That may be a good thing to play at his wedding.

My mom has it somewhere. I think my grandma might have it too since it was on the 6 o'clock news.

Kiki is really interested in The Mothman. She just checked a book out of the library about it. Although I think the book is written by a skeptic.
