The Zodiac killer case has fascinated me since the early 80's though its tentacles evidently are rooted further back in time. Here is a playlist of the latest Haunting Evidence episode where Karla and John try to zero in on who the Zodiac was. Entertaining, not earth shattering. I have lots more links to post and plenty of discussion points should anyone be interested.

Here is the dirt, by the by, on the guy that Haunting Evidence says was the Zodiac.

Back on topic here......I have this book. Do you know if it's worth the read or a pile o' crap? I know nothing about the Zodiac. Zip! I heard the movie was a complete waste of time too. What did you think?

Back on topic here......I have this book. Do you know if it's worth the read or a pile o' crap? I know nothing about the Zodiac. Zip! I heard the movie was a complete waste of time too. What did you think? That book is based on the copycat Zodiac in NYC. He never interested me much and I never took the time to read up on him. The movie is actually good (The Gyllenhall + Downey film) but it's not entirely factual to say the least. It's based on Robert Graysmith's book who was absolutely convinced that Arthur Leigh Allen was the killer. A post mortem DNA test on the saliva from the stamps on the Zodiac letters proved that Allen didn't lick the stamps on the envelopes. The whole movie is slanted toward Allen being the guy because Graysmith wanted him so badly to be. If Allen wasn't the guy then Graysmith owes him some kind of huge apology in the next life because he basically ruined his life by repeatedly accusing him. The case is still playing out. It would be really interesting if Gaikowski turned out to be the Zodiac.
