Yup I met Mark Slaughter!!!!! I LOVED him too, he was super nice.
It was always great when the people were really gracious and friendly. The lead singer of White Lion was a jerk, totally turned me off to the band after that.
No Angie you are not being too personal. I am married, but currently separated. No kids, I just have never been sure if I want to or not & I always figured if I wasn't sure it was best to hold off. My husband felt the same way so that was good.

[quote author=dnddad324 board=general thread=1187965454 post=1200500318 I thought about, seriously, but my wife would've killed me and there is also a guitar I want which is more important at this point. Hell, I just saw them in July anyways.[/quote]
Do you play? If so, for how long?

One of my sisters is the same way and sometimes I envy her lifestyle. Her hubby is alittle older than her and has kids already but they are older and have kids of their own now. She just never wanted kids of her own. She has always been abit of a conspiracy theorist and is way too paranoid to be a parent. She sleeps in, comes and goes as she pleases and has a house that is full of antiques and breakables. Kids are alot of work and responsibility. It is very mature of you to know when to hold off. I know a few women who never wanted to be Mothers and had kids anyways just because it was the thing to do. Plus alot of women are career oriented now and know that a having a child would be selfish if they have to have them in daycare and at Grandmas for 60+ hours a week.

Whitesnake, Tesla, Cinderella, Stryper, White Lion, Vixen, Britney Fox, The Black Crows, Warrant, Slaughter, Lillian Axe, The Cult, E' Nuff Z' Nuff, Nelson, Trixter, Faster Pussycat, Winger, Kix, Firehouse, Sweet FA, Spread Eagle, Lynch Mob, Tora Tora, Bullet Boys, Skid Row, Extreme, Danger Danger. My boyfriend/hubby/other half whatever you want to call him would be so totally in love with you right now if he read this. He LOVES alot of those bands, especially Motely Crue. ;D I'm trying to get him to sell some of his Kiss crap. I can only handle so much Gene Simmons.

I'm not even going to tell you all what concerts I've been too. You'll all make fun of me and Angie will make fun of my age.

If it makes you feel any better, I saw Debbie Gibson. Granted it was only because a friend had free tickets & no one to go with. But I still went ;D.

Okay....
No one laugh at this one BUT....
A few years ago I took my daughter to see Avril Lavigne. It actually wasn't a bad concert.
My first concert ever was Chicago. I've them two more times after that.

Never saw them again after that. Not sure if they even toured after that. My second concert was Pat Benatar, third was Heart. After that I lost track. I think I probably went to close to every rock show that came to the Centrum in the late 80's early 90's. Oh yeah & Debbie Gibson ;D

I forget the band's name that opened for them (one of those one hit wonders) but the opening band was so hideous that they're booed off the stage. For the life of my I cannot remember the name of the band that opened for them.

I like Avril too! I was going to take Kiki to see her in March but since we are moving and I am having her birthday party at High School Musical on Ice I figured that was enough. Also I think Avril is a fairly good role model compared to some of the other sleazy young singers (and actresses Hello Jamie-Lynn Spears ) out there.

I think the band might have been from Canada so I hope we don't offend our friends from the Great White North ;D Are you ready? Honeymoon Suite. Their one big hit was called "Feel it Again". I know my friends and I got to the show a little late & didn't see their whole set but I don't remember them being booed. But then again that was 20 yrs ago & sometimes I am lucky if I even remember what I have for breakfast some days so as you can see my memory can be quite fickle.

Honeymoon Suite ROCKS!!!! Yes they are Canadian, it's possible that they were more famous here in Canada. They had a few big hits here in the great white North. Mark!!! How could you not remember Honeymoon Suite? ??

I don't know Honeymoon Suite but if I heard one of their songs I might change my mind.
