Apparently they pulled all online footage of the performance. Guess little miss can't bother to put panties on can't handle the criticism.

Was she all nutty or something. All that I've heard of it was that she had a big belly. Damn I hope after two kids my belly doesn't get as big as hers. What was she thinking? What a disgrace.

I TOTALLY agree. I think she looks awesome.

This is a big topic of discussion on AT and DD now too. I love hearing what people are saying on this one.

I think she is a shitty performer, well a shitty singer anyways. Why the hell didn't she SING???

ME TOO!!! I can't get over people who say that she doesn't look good. People in glass houses and all that......

Having a daughter I am especially adament about women and the role they play in todays society. What is the media doing to women? Personally I love that Dove compaign about real women. Real women with careers, kids and a life don't usually look like a model. That is a fact. Women who perpetrate the media's outlook are hurting women and the young girls who look at those images and wonder if they are pretty or skinny enough.

Yes she did lip sync her performance. That was the kiss of death I think. It even looked like she had a hard time remembering the words.

She not only lip synced the performance she seemed to get tired of doing even that. She looked completely uninterested, unsure, bored, and stoned. She hardly moved at all. She didn't sing. It was terrible. I managed to see this on YouTube before it got yanked. Huge disappointment. And the outfit, they had something else picked out for her but she insisted on that bikini thing. I've always liked Britney (for the most part) but the hoochie act is old and tired and stupid. Neither she nor that guy she married are fit to raise those babies. Which is a shame. If I were her mother I'd be so ashamed of her I wouldn't be able to leave the house.

How much of what we see on TV and in the magazines is true though? I'm not trying to defend her or anything but I'm not sure if everything said about her is true. Yeah she parties alot but does she party when she has her kids or just when they are at their Dad's?

I'm waiting for the "Britney was on prescription drugs for a backache and that's why she was out of it during the performance" story. I'm surprised that hasn't been used yet.

All in all, I still like her and think she looked good.

I agree, some of the things the media puts out there is pure garbage. But Britney lives up to some of that stuff when she's out and about. I'm not slamming her, I like her, but the slut routine (on stage) has to go. No matter what the media says about her, they're getting fuel for it somehow and I think she's inadvertantly helping (i mean, yesterday her lawyer quit and several hours later her manager quit - how do you manage that? and her hair dresser quit the night of the VMAs. somewhere along the line the problem is you and not everybody else). And her last four videos or so have her in practically nothing and being a w***e. She's helping make herself into a joke. It's sad. She sold out and I hate that. After all, she's an excellent dancer, her singing's okay, and she was cute as a button.

We all have our stupid moments though, ours just aren't publicized to the world.

I don't know. People make mistakes and that is normal but some, like Brittany, Paris, Lindsay are crying out for help with their stupidity. I don't take it as them just making mistakes that the papperazzi is catching. Also not everyone promotes themselves as role models for our children. These individuals do and I don't need my daughter thinking that what they do is normal. Brittany in particular needs help. I think she looks great but her actions are a sure cry of a young woman in big trouble.

I saw a copy online though, when ya'll began discussing it at Ted's -- total trainwreck, no doubt. I think she looks fine but the performance -- I'm amazed she wasn't booed off the stage.[/glow]
