This happened in 1991 and I swear that every person living in the Lower Mainland and in Vancouver know of this story and this little boy. There are still missing person posters of him almost everywhere you go, there are always new leads....I remember a few years back they found a young man who looked what they believe almost exactly like Michael would of have looked living in Victoria. They did DNA testing and everything but unfortunately it turned out not to be him. I heard that his mother still to this day refuses to move out her house because she believes he will come home. I can only imagine what the would feel like. My heart goes out to anyone with a missing child.

I hope that they find this kid, even if he may not be alive anymore I guess an answer either way is better than not knowing at all. I agree with you though - I feel for all those parents of missing children. I think you'd have to put me in a mental institution if anything ever happened to Kiki. Then I'd go to prison cause I would find the f@cker and kill him myself.

Pretty close. Victoria isn't too far off. If you did go to prison for that though, good chances you would get parole pretty darn early. But then again, with Canada's system it would be hard to say.

It's hard to say if I would get lucky or not. You see cases like that Jane Hurshman (from the Book Life with Billy) and how she killed her abusive husband who viciously beat her daily and her children as well. She got 6 months in prison and two years probation. She also ended up committing suicide because of all the crap that she endured afterwards. I don't think I'd care though since life wouldn't be worth much without Kiki. Most parents I imagine feel the same way.
