Would you believe nothing has been spilled in this house since I bought them!! I did do the water in the bowl trick. It sucked it up like like mad. And I did dump it in the sink full of water and lifted it out and it did barely drip. Weird stuff.

I haven't actually gone to buy it yet but I MUST have the H2O mop. The one on TV has an attachment that is a steamer to kill germs. How cool is that?

We have a steam mop. It's not the H20 one but something very similar. I love it. It cleans so nice. I still wash the floor with cleaner once a week because the kids are always playing on the floor but the steam mop is perfect for the in between mops.

I want a steamer thing for the counters and stuff. I wonder if they make something like that?

Did you ever buy the H20 mop?? I bought one yesterday. It works great!! Let me know if you got one! I didn't get one. I think at the the time we were getting ready to rip out the carpets and put down new hard wood floors but with Kris' contract up in the air and his pay cut we put off any renovations and now we want to wait unti aftet Disney to spend more $$$ so maybe then I will invest in a H2O mop. I do have hardwood floors but not enough to justify it yet. So you like it? It works well?

I don't have hardwood and I still bought it. I'm hoping I'll mop more often with it because I hate dragging the mop and bucket out. The one I got too supposedly works on carpet stains.
It seems to work really well. Once it's warmed up and ready to go it takes like 2 swipes over a dried spill to clean it up. I was impressed. You don't have to push down hard on it or anything as well. I did the kitchen Sunday night and I had mopped Saturday afternoon. The pad was so dirty. I guess from all the dirt that the mop didn't pick up or left behind. I like it.
It's the H2O mop: steam cleaner. I don't know if that's the same one that always advertised on TV or a new and improved one. It costs bloody well $70 on sale (thanks mom!!)

So the pads for it, are they reusable? or do I have to buy them all the time like swiffer? My house is pretty small, about 1500 square feet and only the kitchen, entryway and bathroom (and three bedrooms) are not carpeted. Our bedrooms have original hardwood floors and so I just sweep and mop them but the entry way, bathroom and kitchen I wash by hand. Yep I'm nutty. I may ask Santa for the H2O mop........ I can't wait to get rid of all the carpet. Just thinking about all the crap in it makes me sick.

No it comes with 2 pads that you just wash in the washing machine. I think you have to air dry them though.
You should ask Santa for one. It's cool.
I would love to get hardwood in here too. But it's so noisy and with the suite downstairs. Maybe one day. And thanks for the mental picture of what's living in my carpet. I must do vaccuum now. ;D
