Oh no! Glass Tiger and Gowan were so not one hit wonders. I still have a t-shirt somewhere from one of my several Glass Tiger concerts that has all the bands autographs. We got to stand between the crowd and the stage with the security. I got in trouble for trying to touch Alan Frew's hand when he bent down to sing to us. LOL Also saw Gowan in concert. The sad part is that it was in the early 90's and not the 80's. It was still a good show. Pretty in Pink was one of my favs too! I think the type of guy Andrew played in that movie cemented the kind of guy I wanted in the future. This thread was such a good idea Holls. You are a genius!

Speaking of Hooters....who would let their 6 year old daughter come to school in a Hooters tank top? Does that seem wrong? A little girl from Em's class was wearing one today. I think it's okay for around the house or bedtime but not to school. Thoughts? I totally forgot about that song. I'm going to add it to my list of downloads. ;D

I added your songs to my list of downloads too! Glad you changed the thread name. I don't know if I could've gone on with Glass Tiger under that thread name - tee hee hee. Your Mom went to Gowan? Cool Mom! Was it in the 80's?

Your Mom went to Gowan? Cool Mom! Was it in the 80's? I'm not sure when it was but it must of been the 80's. I remember it was when we lived in Abbotsford and we moved from there when I was 11 so it was pretty darn close.

I would also disown Kiki if she took up a career in anything such as Hooters. I wonder if that 6 year old girl even knows what her shirt means. In 10 years when she sees a pic of herself wearing it she'll be mortified.
