The Cat Came BackI used to sing this song in school and I absoutley loved it! It's always been my favorite. Em is singing it in school now too. I'm sure it's a nicer version but it's brought back so many memories. I have always loved Fred Penner. You've heard of him right? He's always been "the man"! I always remembered him crawling through the log. Fred Penner's PlaceHe was in our area years back doing a little concert and I so wanted to go. I didn't have Em at that time so I never went because it would been strange....a 20 something year old woman freaking out along with all the kids.

I never watched Fred penner's Place, but my Winnipeg kids LOVED that version of The cat came back. Everytime we were in the van we would play it on cd over and over again and all teh kids would sing. You could've went to the Fred Penner show...I'm sure there were all kind of nuts there. Is he still alive? You'll have to take Em along if he comes around again.

I did get to see Mr.Dressup live. I was pretty lucky. I think I sat there with my chin to the floor when I realized who was right there in front of me, my Mom didn't even tell me where we were going. I used to watch him everyday. My stupid sister used to get infront of the TV and do a stupid dance and block the tv and then she'd make fun of his tickle trunk. It was all fun and games until she got a pool ball right in the eye from the pissed off 4 year old. Gave her a good shiner too.
