I know that this happened in 2007 and I read about it alittle back then but I just watched the Father in this story on Oprah last week. Never have I have a show and felt so utterley devastated by a story. This is truly a sad story. Maybe even worse that I have an 11 year old daughter and to hear that this poor child in this home invasion story was raped and tortured before dying a slow brutal death......I hope these two men rot in hell. crime.about.com/b/2007/07/24/home-inhttp://www.imdb.com/title/tt1323045/vasion-shocks-connecticut-town.htm

I read about that in the People magazine awhile back. And I knew it was on Oprah last week but didn't watch it.
How do you go on living after something like that? It's horrible.
I can't find the story on the link. Am I missing it?

That link looks all wrong. Sorry . I will look after and see if I can find a better one. I was so devastated by that story just hearing about it on Oprah. It was on my mind all night. The week earlier Kiki and I were watching a show called 'I Survived' and it was about a home invasion. It totally freaked Kiki out. The kid who can watch any horror movie and not be scared was totally scared afterthat show. I need to start reading People again - I used to buy it all the time.

I'm glad we have a big dog. A big dog who sleeps in the house. Since we got her I sleep so much better because she hears everything. People just have to walk across the front of the driveway and she's growling to let us know. That and the 3 locks on each of the doors.
