When we went to Alberta, George Lutz passed away. The year after we went camping and someone else (I can't remember who) passed away. Last year it was either Estelle Getty or Bernie Mac ( forget which one) who passed while I was camping and then I get the phone from my mom pretty much as soon as we set up the trailer that Michael Jackson had a heart attack! I'm shocked! I was shocked about Farrah too even though we knew that was coming but Michael Jackson? I'm not a big fan but that was a surprise. Mom says I'm not allowed to go camping anymore. I kill celebs that way.   |

Billy Mays is dead too. Remember him? He is the one who SHOUTS ON ALL THE INFOMERCIALS LIKE OXYCLEAN.

Ya I was totally shocked to hear about Michael. I was watching Entertainment Tonight about Farrah and a friend of mine announced on Facebook that Michael was in the hospital in serious condition then before I could finish reading her post she updates it with a 'He's dead'. Shocker. Although now looking at his publicity pics from his tour announcement you can see just how bad he looks. Way too skinny. He was 100 lbs and 5'11. He must have had a serious eating disorder.
What's weird is that Michael, the king of pop, dies 31 years after Elvis, King of rock and roll. Michael idolized Elvis. Had serious health issues and had doctors throwing drugs at him. I am thinking we'll hear that he was taking too many pills and overworking his frail, tiny body.
I think maybe you should stop camping Holls. You are killing all the celebs. Please don't take Patrick Swayze from me. PLEEEAASE!

I read about Billy Mays this morning. I used to watch him in the middle of the night when Em was a baby. Already in my paper this morning they wrote about Michael being way too skinny and taking way too many prescription pills and having to get his stomach pumped a few times. And that the pills were the cause of the heart attack. It's started already. A celeb just can't die of a heart attack or natural causes, there has to be drugs or something involved with it.  Not saying there wasn't drugs involved in this case but you know what I mean. I will be super sad when Patrick passes. I crushed on Johnny Castle for a REALLY long time. |

Celebs are just too influencial, doctors are at their beck and call and willing to write them a prescription for just about anything. Sad really. Same with Anna Nicole. Michael, while he was an amazing artist and a huge part of many generations including mine was a total weirdo and I just couldn't get past the whole letting all those kids sleep in his bed. |

We'll have to make a "we love you Patrick" thread when his time comes. I used to love him as a kid. Thriller is great. I read somewhere on a celeb website that they are already comparing him to Elvis and supposingly Lisa Marie is talking about it or something like that. I didn't read all of it. |
