No, no beeper but on my Iphone i have a celebrity gossip app and whenever breaking news happens in the celeb-land it will text me and let me know. It's wonderful.  ;D |

I almost peed my pants when I found out the Warrant guy died while I was camping! I got your message earlier that day but didn't put two and two together. I had no idea who Jani Layne was and thought it had to do something with the song....camping brain!
Of course I know who he is, I just didn't know his name. Sorry Jani Layne. That is his name, right? ;D

I do LOVE Jack Layton and I even watched his funeral and cried. I had a headache all the next day from it. I feel like Jack was our one good hope for the future. B.C. is mainly conservative rright? A bunch of Harper lovers! |

I wasn't into politics either until I saw the difference between Manitoba and Ontario. Manitoba is a NDP province, especially when we were there and Ontario is Conservative. Manitoba had excellent health care - everyone had a doctor and I could go in that very same day to see mine. Ontario is very short on doctors and wait times are ridiculous. Manitoba had provice run car insurance so all the money paid to insurance - if it wasn't all being used you would get a cheque at the end of the year for 3 or 4 hundred bucks. Ontario's auto insurance is all private business so we pay a fortune and get nothing for it. In Manitoba we had a health centre every few blocks (with olympic sized pool and gym and etc) that was very affordable for all people - here again private business so they want to make a profit. There is more but I won't bore you. Just seeing how much it costs us to live from provine to province showed me how important it is to choose wisely when voting. Rant over. |
