Not like it is a huge surprise but I am disappointed. Seems like all the celebs that were so huge in our generation have all died this past year. Drugs too.....seems to be a reoccuring theme.  |

Good thing he never said yes to my fanmail with all my wedding proposals. I would be one sad widower right now.
That's really sad but like you said....not surprising. I loved him in Watchers.

I loved him in Watchers. now they are saying it may not be drugs, now it may have to do with heart congestion or something like that. Although I wonder if all the years of abusing drugs caused this problem to begin with. I remember watching 'The Two Corey's' and they had to take Corey H. to the doctors because he was having chest pains. It really is sad considering just how young he was and how much potential he had if he had quit drugs. |

I read yesterday that his heart was enlarged. That's scary! It kinda bothered me reading that considering......And they said he had flu like symptoms before he died. It just kinda freaked me out. I'm over it now though. ;D
I haven't been to FAD yet. The thread must be gettting pretty big.

I'm over it now though. ;D I haven't been to FAD yet. The thread must be gettting pretty big. I haven't been to FAD either in the past week. I am betting the thread is pretty long now. I was told that Corey was broke and that they are having trouble paying for his funeral. There are people that have donated money to his Mom to cover the expenses. That is so sad. Especially with his potential a nd how well known he was and he was broke? I heard about the enlarged heart too. Corey was so into drugs though and I think that's what caused his problems. They were saying on the news that he was involved in illegal drug rings, he was getting prescription pills through this group. Kris was saying this morning that Corey was being buried somewhere just North of Toronto! I am going to have to take a look. I would take a drive to see that and get some pics for out FAD friends. LOL |

I read in the paper that he is being buried in Toronto too. There was a big thing because someone said the city of toronto was going to pay for the funeral and then they weren't because there were too many complaints about it. I didn't read the whole article so I'm not sure exactly what's up.

So I looked up where he was being buried and it is only an hour away. The cemetery is actually close to Canada's Wonderland where we went for Halloween haunt. Kris even wants to go and take a peak maybe on our way to go shopping in Vaughn Mills.  |

Ooohhh....take pictures!! When are you going? Maybe later in the Spring. We were going to go before Florida but the few things we need to buy are just the next city over which is 15 minutes away rather than an hour to Vaughn. It will work out better that ways anyway because I am sure the caretakers are being extra careful right now of Haim's plot since he is famous. In a few months the hoopla will die down more and we can take pics. |
