No, he's working on his birthday, he'll be in Halifax. We celebrated yesterday. He wanted me to make a lasagna and a marble cake. Plus I got him Toronto Maple Leaf tickets for the spring. Well tell him your crazy friend says Happy Birthday! He's easy to please...lasagna and cake. Men are good that way. My hubby's birthday is coming up and he wants Chinese Food. That's it. Chinese food is even better because you just pick up the phone. How old will he be? Kris will be 36.

I just started to read the Lynn Spears book. I didn't realize all of the stars that were part of the Mickey Mouse club when Britney was there; Keri Russell (Felicity) Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, JC Chasez (Nsync) and Christina Aguilara. Kris' bday is tomorrow and I got him a book called "I hope they serve beer in hell'. It looks like a really funny book. I am just chomping at the bit for him to finish so that I can start it. So I couldn't help myself.....I started to read Kris' book last night while he was snowblowing. I am completely hooked. He took it with him to Halifax though and I am hoping that he finishes it there so that I can finish reading it. I am so psyched right now though I just found out that they are not only making a Beer in hell movie due out this year but there is also a sequel to the book called 'Assholes finish first'. Today is a good day.......

This guy (Tucker) is such an asshole Holls. Every woman has come across atleast one of these guys once in their lifetime. Even though if you had come across this guy you would want to kick him in the gonads you will read his book full of his real life stories and laugh your ass off. He has a chapter strictly on blow jobs and all the 'mishaps' that he has experienced. He also has a chapter about having sex with a fat girl and about his retard friends. So very funny though. I HIGHLY recommend reading it - especially to you Swampie - you may find it amusing. Maybe you have a friend like this?

I might try Twilight. My friend who never reads bought it 2 weeks ago and she is just finishing the 4th book. She thinks I will love it but I'm not sure. So I will probably give the first book a try and see what I think. I'll let you know. I really didn't want to jump on the Twilight bandwagon. I'm gonna hate myself if I like it. ;D

My reading has gotten heavy lately: 1). Howard Zinn: A People's History of the United StatesAccording to this classic of revisionist American history, narratives of national unity and progress are a smoke screen disguising the ceaseless conflict between elites and the masses whom they oppress and exploit. Historian Zinn sides with the latter group in chronicling Indians' struggle against Europeans, blacks' struggle against racism, women's struggle against patriarchy, and workers' struggle against capitalists. First published in 1980, the volume sums up decades of post-war scholarship into a definitive statement of leftist, multicultural, anti-imperialist historiography.2). Madame Blavatsky: Isis UnveiledIn the author's words, Isis "is the fruit of a somewhat intimate acquaintance with Eastern adepts and study of their science. . . . They showed us that by combining science with religion, the existence of God and immortality of man's spirit may be demonstrated." Supported by extensive evidence from religious and mystical traditions, classical scholarship, and the testimony of nature, these volumes aid the student in detecting the vital principles which underlie the philosophical systems of old.

Wow! Sounds like serious stuff. I'm not even going to tell you that I am reading "The Zombie Survival Guide" now. Not telling you at all.
