I'm reading Kiki's Junie B. Jones series. Not my choice of a good read but I have to quiz her everyday after she reads to make sure that she is comprehending what she is reading.

I'm reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It's a high school vampire story written by a Mormon. It drags in places and there are so many sappy scenes in it that I almost want to vomit. I'm 3/4 of the way through because it does have its moments. I'm definitely plodding along though.

I'm blah about it now. Ms Meyer almost killed vampires for me

I started reading Blackbird (thanks to you Angie ;D) But I haven't picked it up all week because I've been so busy. Hopefully soon I can start it up again.

Ang, I think you and I are going to be the only ones who aren't reading or planning on reading the new Harry Potter book. ;D

I strongly dislike Harry Potter. I even tried to read it to Kiki when she was younger but she doesn't like it either.

I finished HP. Part great, part boring and part craptastic. I'm glad it's over, personally. It was one of those stories that I started really loving and then became disenchanted with but continued on due to a weird sense of obligation to finish.

I just bought The Ruins by Scott Smith, author of A simple plan. Looking forward to this one, I'll let you know how it goes.

I went book hunting yesterday. I bought...oh crap what was it called......it's a Peter Straub book. I was in the book store and saw it and thought about what we were talking about the other day Carnie and it looked good so I grabbed it.
Little boy lost, little girl lost or something along those lines. I left it in the van. I'll go grab it in a bit. ;D

Alright I was off a bit. "Lost Boy Lost Girl" it's called. I'm really hoping this book will give me the heebie jeebies, at least a little bit.

That's all I want to know.

I'm about half way through Lost Boy Lost Girl and last night I was actually getting a little creeped out. There wasn't anything really scary happening, he was just describing a person in the shadows of the house and it got me a little bit. I could just picture it in my head.
Didn't help that I was all by my lonesome last night either. ;D
