This has been the shittiest summer weatherwise EVER! SOOOOOOOOO much rain. We didn't end up going to the cottage and we had crazy thunderstorms yesterday too. Luckily we took our holidays at the end of the summer, maybe by then the summer weather would have caught up.  |

Sunny today - horay!!!! My pale legs are happy. You should see my legs! You'd be so mad at me!  How many days did it rain for you? You had the kids too? The night before we left, we had a huge thunder and lightning storm. The house was shaking and it was just crazy. The weather where we were camping was super hot but we were right on the ocean so we had the breeze and it was perfect. I guess BC had a major heat wave while we were gone too. Em's fish died it was so hot in the house. I was told it was pretty bad. |

It was really nice on Friday then we had rain on Saturday and wicked thunderstorms on Sunday. Today is dark and yucky looking and crazy humid. Supposed to be nice the rest of the week and weekend....we'll see.
I try to get out whenever the sun is out and I got a bit of a tan, but usually I am really dark in the summer. Sounds like you got some sun. Legs always look nicer when they are tanned.

We've got the rain today. Which is nice. I've opened up all the windows to air out the house, I'm going to clean today and have a mommy and daughter day of doing nothing because I have the kiddos back tomorrow.
It's supposed to rain all week here.

Did you see any meteors last night? I guess there were meteor showers last night and the night before. We saw a few of them. And all sorts of things slowly moving through the sky. It was kinda fun.  |

Kris mentioned the meteor showers, he flew from Calgary to Toronto lastnight, said he made lots of wishes. I went to bed at 9:30 so I didn't see anything although I think it would have been a beautiful thing to see. Did you make any wishes? |

I think I wished that J would stop tapping his darn foot. That's funny that you say Kris was flying last night. I said it would be cool to be in an airplane during a meteor shower and J and Matt were thinking you wouldn't be able to see anything from a plane and I told them they were nuts and I was right and they were crazy wrong. Yay, i was right....as usual.  |

It has been so beautiful here the past 5 or 6 days. 30 or so and blue, blue sky. Hopefully it holds out for our holidays next week. What's it been like out your way Holls? Kris was in Calgary all weekend and says it was quite cool there.

It has been cool here. Yesterday was a little warmer and it's supposed to get hotter every day this week. It's overcast today but looks like the sun is trying to come out. I want to go in the darn pool but have to wait for it to heat up again.
You're going to lake on your holidays right? When does that start?
