We are supposed to be getting around 23 or so that would be the average temperature for this time of year. We had a shitty, rainy summer last year and almost a non existant spring this year. I hope we get some better weather soon or I mind as well go back to being fat and wearing sweats - lol.

You were so not fat!!
23 is pretty warm. That would be a nice temp.
The mom I do daycare for sends her daughter over in sweats...IN THIS WEATHER!! SHe's wearing her bathing suit right now. Poor girl. No wonder she's been in the hospital for dehydration. Some parents are so stupid! I have told her many times to bring her shorts but she hasn't yet. I'm waiting for her teacher to say something.

Only problem with that is that she has more junk in her trunk than Em so it's uncomfortable for her. Or I roll up her pants the best I can. She has run around the house in just a tshirt and her underwear too. We are having a heat wave and there are a few forest fires burning somewhat close by...there is a smog warning in effect and people with breathing problems should stay indoors. We don't get any smog or haze where we are (at least not that I can see)but if you into the next town over you can kinda see it. It's supposed to cool down tomorrow.

We broke 21 records for the highest temp. this week. I think the hottest it's been this hot here was like in 1934 or something like that. It's a bit cooler today though, instead of mid 30's we're supposed to be in the low 30's.

Another rainy day here. It rained yesterday too. I always feel sorry for the kids on rainy days, they love being outside, it makes a huge difference in their moods.

Another rainy day here. It rained yesterday too. I always feel sorry for the kids on rainy days, they love being outside, it makes a huge difference in their moods. Some days I love it when it rains because I can keep the kids inside and they will play while I catch up on housework. But they drive me crazy in the house at the same time so I love it when we can go outside and they can run and be idiots out there. The thing I'm not liking now is that they always want to go into the pool. I can't blame them for that but the girls can't touch the bottom very well and the life jackets give both girls a horrible rash under their arms. So I'm hoping in with them every time so they don't have to wear the life jackets and since it seems kids can't feel the cold as much as adults can so after 20 minutes I'm bribing them with anything I can think of to get them out.

Here's an idea to get them out of the pool, tell them that you are going to release the brown shark then the pool will have to be drained, cleaned and refilled and that could take days.....

It looks like a cloudy day today (and has for the last few days) so you think it's going to be nice and cool until you go outside and are blasted with heat. the big wildfire is drowning out our sun and making it look like a cloudy miserable day.
