It's frickin' snowing!!!!!
Wahoo, it's about bloody time!!! Now it feels like Christmas!!!!
Ok, to be honest it's kinda rain and snow mixed but they are calling for 5-10cm by this evening!! Wahooo, snow angels here I come!!!

It snowed a bit overnight. Like not even an inch. Today we have crazy blue skies but it's damn cold and windy. The wind chill is supposingly -7 right now. For us, that's damn cold!!! |

Welcome to winter my friend.  It must be nice to have a snow just a few times a year. I think that would make it bearable. We were just up North this weekend and man do they have a ton of snow. The snow banks are higher than the jeep. |

Higher than the jeep?  Imagine the snow forts you could make with those!!!! ;D We haven't had any more snow but it's -6 right now (it's warmed up alot) and we are expected to possibly get to -17 in some areas of the lower mainland with some areas getting a wind chill of -24. We are close to breaking records from 1964 or something like that. You're probably calling me a wuss and thinking that's a warm day for you, aren't you?  And I'll have you know I walked Emily to school (we live 1 house away from the school) and my hair was wet and I wore no socks in my boots (they are lined with fuzzies) and as soon as I got home I put on short pants. Insane? ;D |

Well we already know that you are insane. But we loves ya anyway! :-*Kris is in Vancouver right now and is amazed at your weather. Quite unnatural for you guys huh?Today it was +6 this morning and raining and now it's dropped about 10 degrees and the wind is howling. I think we are getting your weather!

Kris is in Vancouver?! Next time you should really go with him. Im only maybe 45 minutes away from Vancouver, depending on what part of Vancouver. This morning it's -8 according to our temperature thingy. That's cold! We are supposed to brace for a big dump of snow too. That's great but it's way to cold to play in the snow. |

Kris stays at a hotel in Richmond. I'd like to come in the summer or warmer season so that I can go and roam on the island as well. One day it may be nice to retire there. Only another 32 or so more years to go. LOL
Did you get that snow?
We got a good dumping last night and we are supposed to get even more over the next few days. The snowbank at the end of the driveway is almost too high to see over.
Kris was saying that when he flew into Winnipeg last night it was well into the -30's. Youch.

There's enough snow to play in though and it's coming...slowly. We're supposed to get 10-15cm over the weekend. After the kiddies get home we'll have to go out there and get into trouble. -30?? I am no longer complaining about my -8 weather. |

We are supposed to get 15 - 20 cm of snow today. Good timing too cause our furnace has issues. We didn't have it on at all last night - thank God we have a gas fireplace in the rec room it kept the whole house warm. Today the furnace gets fixed and then we'll be back in business! Also just like the cherry on top our locks on the jeep door went bat shit crazy and the part to fix it plus labour costs will be just over $800. This is going to be an expensive Christmas! Do you still have snow?  Did Em make a snowman? |
