Wow maybe I do need to move to BC. You know how to make igloos. You sound like you might be fun to hang out with on a snowy day.  It's easy. It's pile the snow up high when shoveling the driveway and tell the kids to dig. Keeps them busy forever. LOL!! |

We're going outside in about an hour. It's -10 here. I'm not used to that kind of cold at all. it's like the freakin' Arctic here. hahaha!

It's been snowing like mad here. And with the wind and freezing temps. it's been kinda icky. Today is warmer though and the wind seems to be gone so hopefully it will be better to play in today. The van broke down on Saturday too. That was nice.  |

It's been snowing like mad here. And with the wind and freezing temps. it's been kinda icky. Today is warmer though and the wind seems to be gone so hopefully it will be better to play in today. The van broke down on Saturday too. That was nice. Oh no...are you okay? You weren't stranded were you? Did you get it fixed? Don't you hate that it happens right before Christmas?? It turns out the jeep is going to cost $1800.00 instead to repair it. That sucks...but what can you do? |

The guy thinks that we possibly got some bad gas since we filled up the night before it broke down. There's not much he can do since it's acting fine now. So hopefully it's only some crappy gas and all will be fine. I haven't driven it since it happened. I'm waiting for the hubby to do the honors! lol!! ;D $1800?  Crap you could buy a nice beater car with that money. That's a big chunk of change especially this time of year.  We got a lot more snow last night and early this morning. Haven't gotten any more since. We have a lot more snow that we are used too though. It's supposed to start up again Christmas Eve. It's was a lot warmer today too so that was kinda nice....we stayed outside a lot longer. |

I don't know the exact standings but I read over the weekend that it was the 20th day with snow falling for us. So today it would be like the 22nd consecutive day with snow. It's a little nuts. Our snow plow guys do not know what they are doing, it's a madhouse trying to get anywhere and if I have to shovel the driveway one more time..you might as well start calling me Hulk. ;D Normally we are lucky if we get a few days of snow. I'm so done. And I'll have you know that I have not worn my sandals in weeks!! Can't say too much about the shorts and skirts but no flip flops! YAY!!  What's the weather like for you Angie? Matt, I'm not even going to ask...you're probably still working on that tan while you're floating on your inner tube in the pool. ;D |

Ha! It took myself and two 5 year olds 20 minutes to walk to school when our house is only 1 house away from the school and usually takes less than a minute to get there. Crap! ;D

Have you been getting rain too? I'm glad that you guys aren't affected. Hopefully the forecast calls for some dry weather for you all. |

Our septic tank is kinda flooded a bit so we are keeping an eye out on that. But other than that, so far we are good. It's supposed to clear up soon. I hope. BC wimp.....HA I actually thought about you when the snow was bad. I was thinking "this would be nothing for Angie." You would think it was just a 'little' bit of snow. ;D |

Kris is on his way out to Kelowna right now (swears if I ever go there I'll never leave). I was looking at the forecast and they were calling for nice warm temps your way.
We are supposed to get -28 on Wednesday or Thursday. That would be average in Winnipeg but here it is quite cold. I may have to plug my car in for the first time this year.

We have to watch the septic tank still though. If we run the dishwasher, laundry and bath all the same time we might be in trouble but it's no biggie.....yet. I haven't been to Kelowna and it's really not that far from here. I know it's really nice, especially in the summer. Kris is in BC a lot. You should just move here. -28?? Holy frigin' crap that is cold!!! I heard that it's supposed to be getting nicer towards the end of the week. That would be nice. Melt some of this dirty snow that is everywhere. |
