I just stole "The Diary Of Anne Frank" was J's dad. I haven't read that since grade 8 I think. I don't remember it all so I can't say if it's good for Kiki to read right now. That's a tough one. She's what...11 now? Oh gosh what was I reading then? I can't honestly remember. I know Charlottes Web was huge for me but I think I was younger than 11. Got any old Sweet Valley High or Babysitter Club kicking around? LOL!!! I loved those. Also Fear Street by R.L. Stine. That's the kind of books I was reading! Ahhh the memories!! Ha ha, when I look back at what I was reading . I read The stranger Beside me (The Ted Bundy book), Life With Billy, and 'IT' by Stephen King in grade 6. I remember my teacher telling me that I couldn't use Amityville Horror as a novel study (he was a minister - lol). Kiki isn't a lover of reading like I was so she is picky about books and has nowhere near the comprehension that I had - look I was a FAD'er waaaaaay before my time. I remember Sweet Valley high! Oh those twins - they were way too goody goody. Remember choose your own adventure?

Okay so I couldn't resist...I bought the new Tori Spelling book. It's funny that she is both of our guilty pleasure - ha ha ha.
I haven't started to read it yet, I am saving it for the cottage.

Oh darn you! I want to read it!! I'll be buying it the next time I go out to the mall.
A school mom has a book called "Running With Scissors" that she read and she says it's really odd and she thinks I will love it. I have no idea who writes it or what its about. I should google it.

Did you read Tori Spellings new one while you were away? J picked it up for me for my birthday. So I can't have it yet. I want to read it now....
How was it? I found Mommywood kinda blah compared to her first one.

I did read Tori's book. I liked it and yes it was better than Mommywood. I especially like the vodoo story in this one.
You'll have to let me know how you like it after your birthday.
I also read a book on the murders in a town called 'Santa Claus' in Georgia. Before I borrowed this book from the library I had never heard of these murders. Pretty good book.

There's a town called Santa Clause somewhere? That is awesome! That's kinda why I want an ereader too. I can easily get all these books that you say are good without having to hunt them down at the library or book store.

One thing is for sure, if you download Under the Dome teh ereader will be a hell of a lot lighter than the actual book.

Not too shabby.

I am reading Kate Gosselin's book. How is it? Worth the read? I don't watch the show or anything so I am not a huge fan but will read almost anything if it's good. I am reading some story that I downloaded. My brother told me it's an internet book and pretty popular. It's called "John Dies At The End" or something along those lines. I've started it and its pretty weird so far. It's about two guys who are ghostbusters like guys. I'm not that far into but it's got my attention so far.

See that is the good thing about the ereader - you get to read these obscure books that aren't readily available. Hey I wonder if you can download that Ray garton book that costs a fortune and is super hard to find......"In a Dark Place" the real story of the Snedeckers. I finished kate's book. I don't think you'd really like it, it is just about her kids and how she got started with the show. Her next one will be better when she tells us what John really did....
