I was thinking this morning it would be cool to have Ottawa and Vancouver play against eachother as the final two!!! I am seeing so many more Ottawa fans the past few years. I think the Leafs were always the favs but since they have sucked for so long people have given up on them and have turned to Ottawa instead.

We beat the LA Kings last night. Woot Woot....goodbye Kings. J's mom's brother owns a sports store here and Em should be getting her Luongo jersey tonight. She is so freakin' excited about it.

Oh Luongo! Em has good taste. Kiki likes him too and Brodeur too. She just got a new fish and is thinking of calling it Brodeur. Weird that our daughters have a thing for good goalies - ha ha ha.
Ottawa is out now, the penguins beat them. So now I am cheering for the Penguins since Crosby plays for them. Here's to hoping it's the Canucks and the Penguins in the finals!

How are the Canucks doing? We were cheering for the Penguins - Go Syney! - but they got beat out by stupid Montreal last night. Bummer. Don't know who to cheer for now.

My stepbro was buried in his Jeremy Roenick blackhawk jersey, so somewhere in heaven he is very happy. I didn't really care who won and I didn't even watch it but it's always good to have the underdogs win.  |

You'll get a kick out of this - Kiki was explaining to me what a hockey player has to do to get a 5 minute penalty and she said one of the things is the 'Holly move' - when I asked her what that is she said it is where you grab the other players jersey - yank it over their head and pummel the crap out of them. LOL remember when you told her that? Anyways just wanted you to know that she named that move after you!

Kiki's hockey tournament this weekend. I am going to be crazy busy helping out. I am volunteering pretty much all weekend.....I am tired just thinking about it.

On Friday night Kiki had a hockey game and decided to wear a 'W' on her jersey for my Dad. She came out out of the dressing room to get her skates tied and when we went back in all the girls had put a W on their jersies too.  So VERY touching I shed a tear or two. Every chance they had they were shouting 'Wally Power'! It was so cute and they won their game too! ;D All the parents had tears in their eyes too - it was a very moving night! |
