Nope, no one got stung. The bees obvisouly weren't out to attack because they went right past us but I was shitting myself anyway. I seriously was a little shaky after that.
Your spiders freak me out. How big are they? And the fact that they can swim is even freakier. With my imagination I wouldn't be able to go into your lake without thinking of Jaws but with a spider.
There has been a jumping spider in the house this last week. he's a big one with a silver stripe down his back. I don't like to kill them if I don't have too....again my imagination gets me....so 5 times I have captured him and took him outside. AND always he comes back. I kicked him out for the fifth time last night and put him out by the pond and sure enough this morning he is by the clock on the wall in the kitchen. The fucker is out to get me so now I think he must die. lol

I'd love to see a pic of the spider!
i don't think my spideris dangerous. I've never looked him up. I don't think we have much here for dangerous spiders. I will try to find a pic of him as well for you.

Okay here is a dock spider...the fuckers are super fast too... and yes they do bite...especially if the females have egg sacs attached to them but mostly their bites are harmless. Don't care we killed a whole bunch of them.

OMG!! That thing is freakin' huge!!!! I thought it was huge before I even watched the video. Ewww....how do you sleep at night with those things running around. I have this weird need to vacuum now. Augh!!!
I was watching the news the other night and they had a story about a man and his daughter who were playing in their backyard in Victoria and a huge swarm of bees flew past them. I saw that 2 days after I saw the bees. What the hell?

I don't know if I told you this before or not but every year we get a swarm of.......are you ready for it..........LADYBUGS! They cover the house and sneak in and we usually get a few who try to hibernate in the bathroom until they die. We've got 6 in the corner of the shower just hanging out. It's like our annual "Let's go count the ladybugs" Em loves it.

I would never kill a ladybug. I would go to hell for that for sure. lol We let them hang out. There's only a handful so it's not a big deal.

We have a lovely septic tank that everyone once in a while we have to hose out the filter. I have never had the pleasure in helping with that but the other week I had to help. GROSS!! Anyhoo, there are a ton of creepy crawlies in there and adn this huge black spider that I swore up and down is a black widow. When we got back from our vacation we were going to try to flip it over and check out it's belly. Luckily for us (because you know I would of been the one to get too close to the thing) we went to a bug zoo while were on vacation and learned about this little guy(ok, monster is more like it)The false black widow spider or mock spider. They like stinky places like outhouses and septic tanks. I think I might move.
