Good, I'm glad everyone is okay.
A lot of people here have colds but beside Uncle Matt, I don't know of anyone that has been sick. Knock on wood!

The clinics just opened yesterday for the H1N1 immunization. Apparently the line ups were nutso. One parent lined up at 9:30am and finally got her son a needle at 2:45.
I think we are going to give it a few days and try on Friday. From the people that I know that already got the shot they say that their arm is really sore and I would like the weekend to recover since all I do is lift little ones all day long.
Did you get the shot yet?

No I didn't. Supposedly here if your healthy and not in the high risk catergory we have to wait another week or two. I've heard too that it makes your arm quite sore. Most needles do though.

There also seems to be alot of differing opinions on this H1N1 needle. 6/7 of my kids have gone to get it. Some were told that they only need one needle, some were told to come back in 21 days for a 2nd H1N1 needle (not the flu shot but ANOTHER H1N1 needle) some were told to call back in a week and they would know more about whether or not to give the second needle (that's scary). Also some were told it takes 2 weeks to take effect, some were told 10 days, some were told 1 week and one other 5 days.....whats with all the differing info? These are all 'professionals'?
Makes me question whether or not I want that needle......
Also all the hype out there that they are trying to thin out the population by killing them off with this needle, I know it's all conspiracy theories but man.......

Also all the hype out there that they are trying to thin out the population by killing them off with this needle, I know it's all conspiracy theories but man....... I'v heard that plenty too. BUT seriously?? Think it would happen? And if it were true, all the healthcare professionals are getting the shot...there would be no one around to take care of us when we got sick. The world would eventually die a horrible painful death anyway. We still have to wait a few weeks for ours...as far as I know anyway. The longer I have to wait, the farther away from my mind it will get. The flu is supposed to peak soon and die down. At least from what's I've heard. And I've heard it takes 10-14 days for the vaccine to come into effect and that children under 10 years do have to get 2 doses 21 days apart. They did that with the flu shot as well when Em was little.

....maybe they are just telling us that the medical pro's are getting the vaccine....what if it's just a placebo? ;D An infant died yesterday in London , Ontario. How helpless would that case be? That baby isn't even eligible for the vaccine.

Poor baby!! I'm not going to think about how the world is out to get us and how we are all going to die. I'm getting paranoid enough about 2012.

It looks action packed and scary.

2012 is a load of crap me thinks. I hope so anyway. I avoid all 2012 topics online. Uncle Matt is big into it. He thinks the aliens are coming. But they will be friendly. ;D
And I don't want to hear a darn thing about organ donation! I'll be dead anyway. I've become way too paranoid in my old age and don't want to get any worse. ;D

We went to get the H1N1 shot on Saturday. Friday I kind of felt like crap. I was so achy, even my hair on the top of my head hurt and I was exhausted, no energy. Then when I woke up on Saturday I felt fine. Weird.
Anyways we had to tell a small white lie that I had a child younger than 6 months in the daycare. Eventhough I have quite a few young ones none of them are that young. One of my toddlers is high risk so I really wanted to make sure that I got the shot. After convincing three different levels of security that all three of us should have the immunization they stabbed us in the arm. My arm is so sore now. Yesterday I couldn't even lift my arm.
Are they immunizing general public yet in your neck of the woods?

I'm not sure who can get immunized this week. I'm totally stuck on it again! Should we? Should we not? I think next week we can get it. My doctor was going to call us when we can come in. I don't know what to do. I want to wait till next year just to make sure nothing weirdo happens with this batch but I want to get it because I don't want any one us getting really sick. Once my doctor calls though I'm sure I'll be making an appointment to see him and get it. I've heard that the shot makes your arm super sore. I've also heard alot of people feeling shitty the day after. But other than a sore arm, everyone feels good? I've been fighting something for weeks. Some days my throat is super dry and I'm stuffed up, other days I have the kinda sick in the tummy feeling. It all only lasts an hour or maybe even the day and then it's gone. Either I'm stressing again and don't know it or my super immune system isn't letting something in.

We're getting our shots Monday afternoon. Finally.
And this morning I woke up feeling like crap. Major head cold going on. I've had the sore throat for 2 days now so I know it's not the flu because this hasn't just hit me. But the nose is joining in today. Blah!
How's your cold doing?

I've had the sore throat for 2 days now so I know it's not the flu because this hasn't just hit me. But the nose is joining in today. Blah! How's your cold doing? If you have nasal issues it is most likely not H1N1. That's what I was told yesterday. I've had a really sore throat since Monday and I felt exhausted then I almost lost my voice and had that irratiating itchy throat. Now it's moved to my head too and I have the worst sinus headache. What is worse is that we are heading to Toronto for Kiki's hockey tournament. I want to take a sudafed but i have somedriving to do in about an hour than I will take one. I'm sorry that your sick too. Hopefully I didn't pass it along via facebook lol. Here's to a speedy recovery! Hope you feel better!

I'm usually pretty healthy and can kick things pretty quick so here's hoping! Jeremy is getting it too. I hope it doesn't hit him hard because I will end up hitting him hard! It must of been our Facebook rendezvous yesterday! Germ spreader!!!! Actaully Em had it a bit all week. My brother is sick too.
